Creamy Mushroom Steak & Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients (raw weights)
- 1000 g beef top sirloin steak, lean, raw
- 12 g salt, dry
- 4.6 g black pepper, dry
- 3 g italian herb seasoning, dry
- 6.2 g garlic powder, dry
- 1 g parsley, dried, dry
- 18 g olive oil to marinate, as sold
- 1000 g potatoes, white, raw
- 25 g butter, light, as sold
- 50 g evaporated milk, fat free, canned
- 0.5 g salt, dry
- 200 g mushrooms, white, raw
- 3.5 g thyme, fresh, as sold
- 0.5 g black pepper, dry
- 23 g mustard, as sold
- 180 g cream cheese, light (low fat), as sold
- 250 g evaporated milk, fat free, canned
- 200 g broccoli, raw
- 100 g onion, raw
- 80 g parmesan cheese, grated, as sold
- 2.8 g garlic, raw
- 1.5 g italian herbs, dry
- 6 g salt, dry
- 2.7 g chili powder, dry
Steps
- Cook steak bites on medium heat for 3-4 mins each side till golden brown and seared
- Peel and slice your potatoes into chunks, place in pot of cold water, boil for 18-20 mins till fork tender
- Drain water and cover with lid to steam for 5 mins
- Mash till smooth, add butter milk and salt. Mix till fluffy
- On low heat, add sliced mushrooms. Cook 5 mins till soft, add salt, pepper, thyme, dijon mustard, cream cheese and evaporated milk
- Stir continuously till melted, smooth and creamy
- Lay all ingredients flat on a lined sheet pan. Oven roast or air fry 18 mins at 180C / 370F till golden and crispy
