Healthy Crispy Honey Garlic Beef Fried Rice

Ingredients (raw weights)
- 1200 g ground beef 95/5, raw
- 75 g onion, raw
- 8 g garlic, raw
- 30 g green onion/scallion, raw
- 1120 g white rice, cooked
- 143 g soy sauce, reduced sodium, as sold
- 130 g water, as sold
- 150 g sweet chili sauce, reduced sugar, as sold
- 80 g honey, as sold
- 16 g garlic, raw
- 5.9 g gochujang paste, as sold
Steps
- Start by searing some extra lean beef mince until it starts to develop a crust.
- Break the beef apart and let it fully crisp up.
- In a bowl, make the honey garlic sauce by mixing salt reduced soy sauce, light sweet chili sauce, honey, diced garlic, chili paste, and water.
- Once the beef is crisped up, add diced onion, diced garlic, half of the honey garlic sauce, and continue mixing until fully combined, then set it aside.
- To the same pan, add spring onion, day old cooked white rice, and the rest of the honey garlic sauce, then mix well to fully combine.
- Add a bit more spring onion on top.
- Equally divide the beef and rice into seven servings and add optional toppings like Sriracha mayo.
