Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into thin strips and season with salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper
- Mix plain all‑purpose flour, potato starch, and the same seasonings together
- Place some of the flour mixture in a bowl, add sparkling water, and stir to form a crumbly wet batter
- Dip each chicken strip into the seasoned flour, then into the wet batter, and back into the flour to coat
- Lightly spray the coated chicken pieces with cooking oil and air‑fry or bake in the oven until golden brown and crunchy
- In a pan over low heat, sauté minced garlic, then add low‑sodium soy sauce, water, minced ginger, honey, and the potato starch mixed with water
- Stir the sauce continuously until it thickens
- Coat each cooked chicken tender evenly with the honey garlic sauce and sprinkle with parsley flakes if desired
