High Protein Cheesy Garlic Parm Pizza Buns

Ingredients (raw weights)
- 450 g cottage cheese, 1% low fat, as sold
- 150 g egg, whole, raw
- 250 g protein pasta, dry
- 6.9 g baking powder, dry
- 6 g salt, dry
- 2.4 g onion powder, dry
- 3.1 g garlic powder, dry
- 1 g italian herb seasoning, dry
- 24 g garlic, raw
- 35 g parmesan cheese, grated, as sold
- 100 g mozzarella/pizza cheese, light shredded, as sold
- 240 g pizza sauce, as sold
- 40 g mozzarella/pizza cheese, light shredded, as sold
Steps
- In a blender cup, add low-fat cottage cheese and three eggs, then blend until smooth.
- Transfer the blended mixture to a bowl and add self-raising flour.
- Add the seasonings (salt, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian herb seasoning) and mix until combined and thick.
- Incorporate diced garlic, grated parmesan cheese, and low-fat mozzarella into the mixture and mix once more.
- Wet your hands to shape the mixture and divide it into eight buns on a tray lined with baking paper.
- Oven bake the buns until brown.
- Once baked, add pizza sauce, more diced garlic, and grated cheese on top of each bun.
- Return the buns to the oven until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Top the buns off with basil and additional parmesan before serving.
- Wrap the buns and store them in the fridge or freezer, reheating when ready to eat.
