High Protein Crispy Sweet Chilli Popcorn Chicken

Ingredients (raw weights)
- 1400 g chicken breast, boneless skinless, raw
- 100 g egg, whole, raw
- 3.1 g garlic powder, dry
- 1.1 g black pepper, dry
- 99 g soy sauce, reduced sodium, as sold
- 80 g potato starch, dry
- 50 g white rice, cooked
- 16 g garlic, raw
- 99 g soy sauce, reduced sodium, as sold
- 250 g sweet chili sauce, reduced sugar, as sold
- 90 g honey, as sold
- 20 g sriracha, as sold
- 5 g cornstarch, dry
Steps
- Start by grabbing a diced chicken breast.
- Add two eggs followed by onion and garlic powder, white pepper, and some soy sauce, and mix it.
- In a container, add potato starch, followed by the chicken, and shake it to coat the chicken evenly.
- Spray the coated chicken with cooking oil and air fry or oven bake with the settings on screen.
- In a pan on medium heat, add diced garlic, followed by salt-reduced soy sauce mixed with water, light sweet chili sauce, chili flakes, honey, and Sriracha.
- Add cornflour mixed with water to help it thicken and mix well until it's nice and thick.
- Add the cooked chicken back into the sauce and stir until well combined.
- Equally distribute the chicken into seven servings with some cooked white rice, sesame seeds, spring onion, sliced chilies, or your choice of sides and toppings.
