Juicy Baked Chicken Breast (Baking Soda Trick)
352 kcal51.9 g protein4.5 g carbs13.2 g fat2 servings
Ingredients (raw weights)
- 454 g chicken breast, boneless skinless, raw
- 14 g olive oil, as sold
- 1.1 g baking soda, dry
- 1 g oregano, dried, dry
- 3.1 g garlic powder, dry
- 6.8 g paprika, dry
- 30 g lemon juice, as sold
- 0.5 g salt, dry
- 0.5 g black pepper, dry
Steps
- After 7-8 minutes remove the chicken from the pan, place it on a cutting board or plate, and let it rest for at least 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and locking in the juices.
- After resting, slice the chicken breasts against the grain and serve.
- You can serve this however way you wish – with your favorite veggies, salad, or with rice, quinoa, or if you’re looking for lowcarb/keto options, my @kaizenfoodco lowcarb rice.
